About Perceptometry Lab

Andrei Potanin
Chief Scientist
Retired Sr. Director at Colgate-Palmolive, published extensively in rheology and tribology. Perceptometry Lab exists to turn subjective sensory language -- smooth, sticky, stringy, hard to squeeze, easy to spread -- into repeatable mechanical measurements that CPG R&D teams can use in formulation decisions.
The technical team is based in the New Jersey / Philadelphia area, close to many cosmetics, personal-care, oral-care, household, and food R&D labs that need fast in-person discovery, sample drop-off, instrument demos, and calibration support.
Andrei Potanin
